Minions at Work: A Photocomic

This is one of the rare “Minions at Work” cartoons shot outdoors. I don’t do it often because — Oregon — clouds — rain — wind — SIDEWAYS rain, etc. But it was always nice when it happened, and it certainly made it easier for me to use big props and set pieces like the Humvee and guard tower seen here. The road? That’s my front walk!

In retrospect, this is a visually confusing composition, and I’m not sure than someone stumbling onto Minions at Work for the first time naturally this was a guy looking down from a guard tower, or what kind of vehicle they were looking at. I love the punch line on this one, so it remains a favorite of mine, despite the flaws.
