It’s interesting to compare this with the very early and minimalist “Minions at Work” cartoons. Everything here is more sophisticated: the lighting, the composition, the set. Lots of lovely textures and shadows here, both real and digitally created in post-processing, and some nice use of highlight color in the lighting.

Most of the props and set items are from the Halloween section in the dollar store, from the “stone” wall panels that are actually foam gravestones, to the nifty death’s-head statues in the foreground. Not sure if the chrome skull mask with built-in black drape was from the dollar store, or the thrift store. I suspect the latter. But it makes for a nifty wall hanging. The throne itself is a fashion doll item.
