Sitting right next to my computer here I have a copy of “Kickin’ Bot,” former Mythbuster Grant Imahara’s book on building combat robots. Not that I’ve ever BUILT a combat robot, or that I ever intend to, but hey, sometimes you just need to keep the information handy.
I love this toy robot. He’s really huge and impressive in Minion scale, and while there isn’t a lot you can do with him, he can be pretty funny just sitting there (or, as in this case, going kind of amuck). That’s another unknown Minion hanging from the robot’s hands. He might just be a random guy, or he COULD be my stunt-double Minion No. 1, minus his hat. That would explain why I was careful not to show his face.
